The Graphic Design Intern supports the Creative team in bringing visual ideas to life across digital, social, print, and experiential platforms. This paid internship is a hands-on opportunity to grow your design skills in a collaborative, fast-paced agency environment while gaining real-world experience working with a variety of clients and projects.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with account teams to produce clean, engaging, brand-aligned assets that support client campaigns and internal creative needs.
  • Create content for various client's social media accounts, including but not limited to; Instagram stories, animated graphics, social posters, hand drawn graphics, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Intern to plan and curate social media content calendars
  • Assist with general administrative and production tasks as needed 
 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Design knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of typography, design principles, storytelling techniques, and the ability to monitor and incorporate design trends effectively.
  • Adobe Creative Suite proficiency: Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with a particular emphasis on Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Experience with Premiere, After Effects, photography, videography, and digital production is considered a valuable asset.
  • Graphic and Digital Design experience: Possess a minimum of two (2+) years of graphic and digital design experience, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Preferred majors include Design, Graphic Design, Advertising, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in the principles of design and creativity.
  • Set to graduate from an accredited college or university in the next academic year
  • Must have access to reliable transportation and valid driver license 
 

SKILLS:

  • Experience in photography, videography, and/or motion graphics
  • Strong aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Proficient in Google Suite and familiar with social media platforms
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate well with others
  • Strong problem solving capabilities
  • Self-motivated with a drive to set and achieve personal goals
  • Demonstrates initiative in learning industry knowledge and terminology
 

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Sitting 85% of the time, standing 15% of the time
  • Working hours vary within window of 9:00 AM CST - 6:00 PM CST, Mondays - Fridays
  • Availability to work as needed on nights and weekends
  • Ability to lift 20-50 lbs
  • Regular use of hands and fingers for computer use
  • Everyday use of vision and auditory senses, including exposure to blue light from computers
  • Work primarily indoors in an environmentally controlled setting
  • Daily communication with peers, media, and clients
  • Ability to maintain cognitive thinking and logical reasoning
