Giant Noise is a Texas-based public relations and digital media agency that creates newsworthy stories for our clients through earned media, social media management, and influencer partnerships. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated summer interns to join our Creative team in San Antonio, TX. This paid internship offers hands-on experience, allowing interns to work closely with our teams. Ideal candidates are proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about the dynamic landscape of public relations and digital media. 
 

JOB SUMMARY:

The photography intern aids the creative team in producing quality work for major companies in food/restaurants, hospitality/travel, retail and events in the Austin area and beyond.  Successful candidates are passionate about excellent social media graphics, branding, and content aesthetic. An ideal candidate for this internship will possess strong photography and videography skills in addition to a high proficiency in the Adobe Suite and Google Suite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for creating content for various clients’ social media including, but not limited to; 
  • Short-Form Social Videos
  • Animated Graphics
  • Assist with Photo Shoots
• Assist with photo and video editing as needed, in addition to opportunities to shoot your own photo and video content
• Work alongside Digital Content interns to create social content calendars and social media campaign content curation
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to edit videos using Adobe Rush, Premiere, or preferred editing software
• Ability to edit photo using Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop
• Ability to edit designs in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Proficient in using social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, Giphy, etc.) 
• Preferred candidates will have the ability to work in-office and attend photoshoots
• Assist the photographer in handling equipment, food styling, and stepping in to model as needed
• Access to a laptop computer preferred (GN can accommodate if necessary)
• Preferred candidates will be enrolled in an accredited college or university
• Preferred candidates will be enrolled in a Photography, Videography, Fine Art, Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, or Communications program 

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Sitting 85% of the time, standing 15% of the time
• Available Working Hours –
  9:00 AM CST to 6:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday
• Ability to lift 20-50 lbs.
• Regular use of hands and figures for computer use
• Everyday use of vision and audio sense
• Exposure to blue light from computers
• Indoors, environmentally controlled
• Communicate daily with peers, media, and clients
• Ability to maintain cognitive thinking and logical reasoning
